Some lovely rhymes below from Preschool Education site:

Manners

Sung to: “I’m a Little Teapot”

I have super manners. Yes, I do.
I can say “Please,” and “Thank You,” too.
When I play with friends, I like to share.
That’s the way I show I care!

Table Manners

Sung to: “Frere Jacques”

Chewing quietly, chewing quietly
Do not slurp, do not slurp,
We must say excuse me,
We must say excuse me
When we burp,
When we burp.

Friends

Sung to: “Twinkle twinkle little star”

We say, “Thank you. We say, “Please.”
We don’t interrupt, We don’t tease.
We don’t argue. We don’t fuss.
We listen when folks talk to us.
We share our
toys, we take our turn
Good manners are easy for us to learn.

3 Nice Mice

Sung To: “3 Blind Mice

3 Nice Mice
3 Nice Mice
See how nice they are
see how nice they are

They’re always polite when they nibble their cheese
They never forget to say thankyou and please
They cover their noses whenever they sneeze
Ahhh ahhh ahhh-choo (pretend sneeze)
3 nice mice
3 nice mice

Read Aloud Books

  • The Good Bad Book of Etiquette by Babette Cole

Craft:

Children draw a face on a paper plate (or use magazines to cut out eyes, nose, ears and mouth, adding hair with string), then trace their hand on another piece of paper. Write on paper, “Cover your sneeze please”. Glue hand to the mouth of the paper plate with a tissue in between the hand and mouth.
